Megan Lacy is a seasoned communications professional whose work has driven results for clients across numerous industries—from nonprofit to government to Fortune 500 companies. As account director at Wild Hive, a consulting firm specializing in food and agriculture marketing, Megan leads strategic direction as well as day-to-day execution for clients.
She has helped develop and execute comprehensive and highly targeted communications programs for Wild Hive’s clients, including the Washington Red Raspberry Commission, the American Lamb Board, Tri-Lamb Group, Avocados From Mexico, and Texas Pecan Board.
Megan has experience leading marketing and communications teams in-house and as a consultant. Prior to joining Wild Hive, she led communications for a national equestrian sport organization, the U.S. Hunter Jumper Association, where she wore virtually every hat—strategic counselor and tactical implementation lead, guiding and executing email marketing, social media, content, media, and issues management strategies.
She began her career in marketing and communications at the international communications firm FleishmanHillard, where she helped clients exceed their communications objectives for eight years. In her tenure with FleishmanHillard, she led numerous accounts, exceeding client objectives. Clients ranged from the Tri-Lamb Group to the Texas Department of Transportation to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Her experience working with food and agriculture, state government, federal government, Fortune 500 companies, and nonprofits allows her to easily integrate into an organization’s workflow and lead teams to success against shared goals. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in government from the University of Texas at Austin.
